Birthday to my Grandma!!!!! Who wasn't born on Thanksgiving in 1919.
My grandma and her son's wife's mom were both born in 1919, one on the
24th and one on the 26th. Both were told they were born on
Thanksgiving. No internet to look it up, so they always wondered.
Probably in the late 80's a librarian looked it up and came back and told them she had an answer. She giggled and said that neither one was born on Thanksgiving, it fell on the 27th in 1919!! I love sharing this story. My grandma raised me and has been gone since 1995, but it still is an extra special Thanksgiving when it falls on her birthday!!
