Gerber® Graduates® Breakfast Buddies™ hot cereal

Did you know?

Many toddlers are not getting enough essential nutrients such as Vitamin E, Iron and Zinc. Gerber® Graduates® Breakfast Buddies™ hot cereal  fill that gap with the addition of nutriprotect, a blend of vitamins and minerals that support healthy growth and natural immune system.
Gerber® Graduates® Breakfast Buddies™ hot cereal have real fruit and are naturally flavored with other natural flavors.

Easy to  Self-Feed Tray

  • Wide tray opening, for easier spooning
  • Designed to be stable on the table
  • Convenient, just heat & serve

Made for Toddlers

  • Spoon hugging texture that is perfect for toddlers learning to self-feed

Easy to Prepare

  • Ready to eat in just 20 seconds
  • Great for at home or on the go
There are three flavors of Gerber® Graduates® Breakfast Buddieshot cereal to try. 1. apple cinnamon 2. cherry 3. peach  My little boy had a chance to try all three flavors.  His favorite was the peach.  I was excited to be able to fix him his breakfast in 20 seconds.  That is all it took.  I just poked a hole in the plastic cover and put it in the microwave.  When I took it out it was the perfect temperature.  Although, I would suggest always testing it!!  His other oatmeals that I fix him stay hot for quite some time after I take them out of the microwave.  He then loses interest.  My little boy did enjoy these, but I sampled them as well.  I have to say that I could have eaten them too.  They are tasty, and my favorite was the apple cinnamon.  These are definitely something to keep on hand for a fast and easy nutritious breakfast.

IMPORTANT NOTES

This product should only be fed to seated, supervised children who are accustomed to chewing solid foods
Store at room temperature. No refrigeration needed until opened.

Thank you to Gerber for my samples used for this review.  My opinions are my own and honest.

California Wine Club Review

I think that the background of the California Wine Club is really  interesting. The owners, Bruce and Pam Boring, said that they were always happiest with wine recommendations from friends.  For this reason, they wanted The California Wine Club to be like "one friend recommending a great bottle of wine to another friend."
They are now celebrating 20 years of business. The Boring's knew that there were hundreds of small, family-owned wineries dedicated to producing exceptional wine ... and it was this wine that they wanted to share with their monthly wine club members. Each month they travel California's wine country searching out the wineries, meeting the families and tasting the wines that never make it to local stores or wine shops.
"This is why it was so easy to guarantee that our wine of the month club members and gift recipients will never receive any bulk, closeout or private label wines...ever. Each and every wine we select comes from a real working winery and is backed by our 100% guarantee."

With four wine of the month clubs to choose from, they have wine selections and wine gifts to suit all tastes and all budgets. To learn more click any of the following :
I, by far, am not a wine aficionado.  I however, occasionally do enjoy a glass with a meal.  I don't even have to have a fancy meal, it can even be with pizza and a movie.  I just like to enjoy a glass occasionally as a treat on a quiet evening, when I am fortunate enough to get one!  I was sent samples of Bixler's Vineyards Wines.  I sampled Union Island Red, and Union Island White.  I enjoy red wine more, and my husband enjoys white, so both were enjoyed!  I also received a copy of Uncorked.  This told me a little information about Bixler Vineyards.  They were established in 2007 and produce 5,000 cases a year.

With four wine clubs to choose from, I think you can find one that you will like.  Also, remember there is not cost for membership to the California Wine Club.

Thank you to the California Wine Club for my samples used in this review.  My opinions are honest and my own.

Horizon Organic Dairy Review

The goodness of organic.  Horizon Organic's dairy products are free of antibiotics, growth hormones,  and pesticides.  They keep out the ingredients your family doesn't need and keep in the wholesome dairy nutrition you count on.

Horizon Organic Dairy has over 40 products to choose from in categories such as milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cream, butter, cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream.

My family drinks a lot of milk.  I wondered if my little ones would be able to notice that I had switched their milk to Horizon.  I tasted it first, and I didn't notice much of a difference.  In my opinion, if you are trying to make something healthier, it is important to at least have it taste similar to the original so the kids will consume it!  I poured my two year old a cup, and he drank it with no problem at all.  In fact, I think he might have been more interested in Horizon's brightly colored carton over his boring milk jug!!!  He did indeed point to Horizon whenever he was asking for a refill.  As you can see below, it is really cute with the red packaging and the jumping cow!
Horizon has a nice tool to help you find a Horizon product in a store near you.  You have options to click on the specific product that you are looking for, then choosing the size, and then entering your zip code and the miles that you are willing to drive.  Go here for their store locator.
You can also register here with Horizon to get money-saving coupons.

Thank you to Horizon Organic for my samples used in this review.  My opinions are honest and my own.

SEE “AFRICAN CATS,” SAVE THE SAVANNA
“African Cats” Motion Picture Opens on Earth Day, April 22, 2011

“African Cats” is still more than a week from opening on Earth Day, but moviegoers have already bought $1.7 million in tickets to see the movie during its opening week (April 22-28) and save the African savanna in the process. Thanks to the “See ‘African Cats,’ Save the Savanna” initiative, Disneynature’s pledge to make a contribution in honor of everyone who sees the film opening week already translates to more than 9,500 acres of land within Kenya’s Amboseli Wildlife Corridor—and that number continues to rise.

During the film’s opening week (April 22-28), a portion of the proceeds from that week’s ticket sales will be donated to the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund to ensure the future of lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes and a host of other animals in the vibrant African savanna. The AWF will be working to protect the Amboseli Wildlife Corridor, a passage between the Amboseli, Tsavo West and Chyulu Hills National Parks that is frequently used by a variety of wildlife.

The film, which will be released in theaters worldwide, opens in North America on April 22, 2011. Tickets for groups of 20 or more are already available in the United States by calling 1-888-DISNEY6. Tickets are also available online at
www.disney.com/africancats.

There are also a number of innovative online efforts underway that allow moviegoers to pledge their commitment to the film and in doing so, support the cause.
