Greyson Chance Rocks Otis Redding's "Hard to Handle"

On last night's season premiere of FOX's Raising Hope, 14-year-old pop-rock phenom Greyson Chance played the younger, more talented version of main character Jimmy Chance (last names purely coincidental).  In the show he performed the hit "Hard to Handle" - originally by Otis Redding but popularized by The Black Crowes - and has just uploaded a full version of the track to his YouTube channel.

Greyson got his start on YouTube with a cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," which has amassed over 43 million views in the last year.  His debut album Hold On Til The Night was released August 2nd and features singles "Waiting Outside the Lines" and "Unfriend You," which he performed last week on Ellen.  Visit Greyson-Official.com for the latest information and updates on where you can see Greyson perform live.

Ice Cream Review and Giveaway

Oh, Boy, has Breyers created a great new line of ice cream.  Of course everyone likes ice cream when it is hot, but I prefer it now when it is a little bit cooler so I am not drinking it. My boys and I picked out the Oreo Cookies and Cream Chocolate.  We love the original cookies and cream, but this one is made with chocolate ice cream instead of the original.  Wow, we loved it.  Oreos in chocolate ice cream, now that's perfect!!

My boys and I also decided that a great after school snack would be Klondike Bars.  I hadn't had a Klondike Bar in years and my boys had never tried one. They giggled at me because I kept singing the jingle "What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar"?  If you go to the Klondike website, they have something called 5 Seconds to Glory, where you can see what people have done for a Klondike bar, there are some crazy things on there.  There are also some fun games, and fun facts.

The Scribblers are my boys favorite from Popsicle.  When the boys are outside they get to run around with these, and when they are in the house they know to "hold them over the bowl."  It makes me laugh, because I almost always know what they are going after when I hear them scooching the chairs across the kitchen floors to get a bowl.  Of course, I love to see their little lips all the different colors!!!

I have three boys, so I cruised through the boys costume section.  I saw the sub category tv and movie.  This is where I found the costume that I couldn't pass up-Clifford the Big Red Dog.  My youngest loves Clifford and this looked really warm so I chose this one.  We got this in the mail, and we just love it.  It is super soft, and it is definitely going to be warm for my little guy.  The hood has the Clifford head on it, which will also keep him extra warm.  I tried it on him and of course he looked adorable.  But we are in the process of potty training so I need to see how easy it would be for me to get him out of it!!!  It didn't take very long at all.  For me it is a plus if it is easy to get them  in and out of the costume.  The quality of the costume pleased me as well. It is made nice and I am sure it will hold up well.  My children play in their costumes many months after halloween, so I expect a costume to be able to do that, and I feel confident that this one will not get torn up!!  It is fairly thick, which as I have mentioned a zillion times, will keep him warm.  No freezing this year!!!

I tried out the slimline rotating frame.  It was easy to load just as they said.  I wasn't sure what to put in it though, as I have so many things I would like to put in there.  My smallest boy played tball over the summer and received a mini-trophy, so that is what he wanted in there.  I put it in there and he was so happy.  The really nice thing about this frame is that you get to see all the angles and sides of what you put in it.  I was thinking of other great ideas for this frame.  Many people could put the baby's first rattle or shoes. I was also thinking maybe the birth announcement from the newspaper and a few of the cute things the baby gets at the hospital.  Maybe the little hat, and the card they put on the crib.  I thought of making a little collage for a high school graduate.  You could take their tassel, maybe the front of the graduation flyer, and add a picture.  I think that would look nice.  Of course, my kids thought a plastic dinosaur would look good too, but hey, it is a 3D frame so why not?

This PhitGrip is very soft and is easy to put on the cart.  The back of this has a slit, which you just slip over the cart handle. The fact that it is killing germs is great because I still have a little one that sits in the front of the basket.  So, yes, if you see my PhitGrip, you might notice that my toddler's mouth has been on it!!!  Plus it is also kind of nice to have a cushy handle for myself!
