I love Bob Evans but I don't get to go there too often because the closest one is almost an hour away.  It is a real treat for us to get to go there.  I even convinced my husband to eat their on vacation once.  Readers may remember that was a fabulous take out meal!! 

I was excited to hear that Bob Evans had recently introduced ten new meals that cost only $6.00 each.  You can try these meals out during the week from 11 to close.  With my husbands work schedule, really the only time he was willing to try these out was during his lunch hour, but that was alright by me, because I only had to bring one little boy with me!!!  Sorry, to the other two!!

Here are two of our favorites.

Sausage Biscuit Bowl

A satisfying combination of crumbled Bob Evans Sausage, home fries and scrambled eggs in our new tender, flaky buttermilk biscuit bowl. Topped with Bob Evans signature sausage gravy, shredded cheddar cheese and scallion.  My husband likes to try various breakfast bowls and skillets so this was right up his alley!

Chicken-N-Noodles Deep-Dish Dinner

 

 

Their famous Chicken-N-Noodles ladled over a heaping pile of mashed potatoes and a freshly baked buttermilk biscuit 

 

Now the challenge is upon us: We must try the other eight!!!

The Cat In The Hat Tricks & Treats + Word World’s Kooky Spooky Halloween Review ~ Giveaway

 

With Halloween just around the corner, let Cat in the Hat help you celebrate.  I have never seen any of these new Cat in the Hat episodes that have been appearing on PBS.  They are very educational.  In the first episode they show us a strange looking animal and teach us all about the Aye Aye.  In the second episode they travel and show us different cultures and different fruits, and teach us about echolocation.

“Aye Aye!” Nick and Sally are making Halloween masks, but they want to make them really scary. Cat takes them to meet Aiya, the Aye Aye, in the forest of Spookywoowoo. Aiya shows them, that even though he may look scary - his big ears, huge eyes and long fingers help him to find food. And now Nick and Sally know just how to make their masks scary!

“Trick or Treat” It’s Halloween! The Cat in the Hat takes Sally and Nick trick or treating - his way! Around the world they go, meeting three new friends who teach them each of the tricks they do and share the treats that they like to eat. Back at home Nick and Sally are ready to go trick or treating, with plenty of new tricks to share!

My middle son is all about Word World.  This show is especially helpful now that he is in kindergarten.  When he got home from school and saw this DVD, he was so excited.  A special halloween Word World, and popcorn made his afternoon!!

In WordWorld's Halloween special A Kooky Spooky Halloween the WordFriends get their share of scares the night before Halloween and Sheep is busy making herself a super special fairy costume to wear for the big Halloween party. It's Kooky, it's Spooky, and it's so much fun!

We don't put up a real tree, so we enjoyed watching Thomas search for the perfect Christmas tree!!  I say it all the time how much my boys and I love Thomas and Friends.  I really really love the winter episodes.  They are just so pretty. The lights are just so gorgeous on the Christmas special.  This DVD was done really well!!

  We actually have a Thomas toy that is covered in snow and holly and it is my favorite of the train in our collection!!!

I love ice skating!!  Well, I have tried it three times and I can't do it.....I should rephrase that.   love to watch figure skating on television.  When I was little I used to beg for figure skating dresses!!  Only the first episode is on figure skating, but we enjoyed the other four as well!!!
