OOFOS Sandals Review and Giveaway

What in the world is OOFOS?  It is a brand a footwear that specializes in a material called OOFoam.  This foam is very energy absorbing.  Test results show OOfoam is 37% more impact absorbing than any existing EVA, the most common material found in footwear.  OOfoam absorbs shock to lessen pain, reduces fatigue, and provides great cushioning.

This footwear comes in two styles, the Ooriginal Thong, and the Ooahh Slide. 

The thong comes in fuschia, tangerine, mocha and black. The slide is available in mocha and black.  Both styles come in women's sizes 4-11 and men's sizes 7-14.

I tried out the Ooriginal thong in black.  I wear sandals almost every day of the year, and I have said it before, even in the winter! I have several pairs of sandals, so I can switch it up.  My husband gets on my case that I don't wear supportive enough ones, and he doesn't think that I am comfortable enough.  Well, these sandals arrived at my door, and I took my other sandals off, and slipped these on.  When they say these are cushioned, they are serious.  They are super comfy, and super soft to walk in.  I am training for a 5K, and my legs are super sore.  When I am not running, I am wearing this pair of sandals because I can tell that they do absorb more than most other sandals do.  You can trust me on that, because my legs are very sore, and I feel a whole heck of a lot better walking in these sandals!!!  Another plus of these sandals is that they are lightweight.  I often wear another pair of sandals that are very cushiony, but they are very heavy, and after a day at the zoo, my legs and feet do begin to wear out.  I tell you I am going to wear these sandals whenever and wherever I want to without worrying about getting them dirty too.  Want to know why?  They are machine washable as well.  They need to make these in kids sizes too!! Now, after all the grief my husband gives me over sandals, he felt these, and is considering grabbing himself a pair!!!
