Blackbear the Pirate-New Bookseries for Children

Blackbear the Pirate – Adventure #1 is the first in a new series of adventure stories for young readers. Each story is masterfully written and presented as a fully illustrated picture book. This is such a cute book full of pirate animals.  Actually the crew is mostly bears.  There is a black bear, a few brown bears and a polar bear.  We really liked the little fox named Le-Kidd.  There is also Pauly the Parrot who repeats about everything he hears.  The whole crew is sailing on an adventure to an island called Bearataria.  The animals have different opinions about going to that island.  The crew works together throughout the book.  We really liked reading about the animals, and were glad we had the second book waiting for us to read. Join Blackbear the Pirate and his faithful crew as they set sail in search of Blackbear's old friend, Captain Ben. The crew of the Annie have been told that Capatin Ben appears to be lost at sea, but Blackbear the Pirate never gives up hope as he races to find him.
